About Me

Slightly older than the new millenium + early user of Windows 98. Fedora Linux is my OS of choice.

I'm a software engineer with a passion for building clean, robust, and user-friendly applications. With several years of experience across the full stack, I enjoy writing Ruby on Rails code the most!

Born and raised in Buenos Aires (Argentina). Computers were my passion ever since I was three - I can still remember looking at all the icons in Outlook Express in awe as my dad read through his emails!

I love learning languages. I speak Spanish, English, German and Portuguese. And I understand a tiny bit of Czech given I've lived in Prague for more than a year!

Work Experience

Full-stack Software Engineer @ Uscreen

2022 - Present

I joined this company and started working on improving and maintaining the billing system and many marketing features. Here, I got my first experience working with Stripe, and developed a brand-new PayPal integration. Furthermore, I participated in the integration of taxes into the checkout page, with heavy influence in the final design and anticipating key details to prevent customer confusion. It is at this company that I discovered my passion for bug-fixing, and I have become one of the top bug-fixers here.

Software Engineer @ NewCombin

2021 - 2022

At this company, I worked at a team responsible for building a microsystem that would interact with Google Cloud's Vertex AI service with the purpose of content moderation (more specifically, image moderation). We responded directly to the customer company's CTO.

Technology stack: JS, Python, Ruby on Rails, Google Vertex AI, Amazon Rekognition.

Backend Software Developer @ Wolox

2018 - 2021

I was 20 years old when I first started working here. Here's where I acquired the strong foundations that helped me progress as a backend developer, and where I had my first contact with Ruby on Rails. I worked on perhaps a dozen different projects, all with varying levels of maturity (from brand new projects to projects already in their maintenance phase) and similarly varying levels of complexity. I am very proud of having started at this company and I'm grateful to have had the experience of working at an office, surrounded by real people. From 2020 onwards, my work would become exclusively remote-only.
